I'm definitely making this on Christmas morning, I think it sounds like a fun version of cinnamon rolls, and it's easy. I'm not a fussy breakfast eater but I definitely don't want anything complicated when I'm hungry. For all you coffee drinkers I think this would be super tasty addition to a morning cup. This recipe was taken from the Pillsbury website.
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 cans pillsbury Grands Homestyle refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup raisins
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
Directions
Heat oven to 350*. Lightly grease 12 cup fluted tube pan (also known as a bundt pan) with cooking spray . In large plastic storage food bag mix granulated sugar and cinnamon.
Seperate dough into 16 biscuits; cut each into quarters. Shake in bag to coat. Arrange in pan adding walnuts and raisins among the biscuit pieces.
In small bowl, mix brown sugar and butter; pour over biscuit pieces.
Bake 28-32 minutes or until golden brown and no longer doughy. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Turn upside down onto serving plate; pull apart to serve.
Makes 12 servings
